This July some of our intrepid clients will be taking on a very special challenge to canoe 90km up the Zambezi River to support wildlife conservation in Africa.
Ollie and Matt from Heal Medical and Wellness Spa and Paul Wilson from Flapjack Films will be part of a small group of travellers taking part in an incredible adventure to raise money for conservation initiatives in this wild and beautiful part of the world.
Ollie will also be volunteering his professional expertise to carry out podiatry services in local communities whilst he is there, helping out in foot clinics and sharing his knowledge with the people he meets.
At Wild & Co we are always stressing the importance of taking an “active” approach to business finances and we are in awe of the proactive decision our clients have made to help tackle wildlife poaching and natural resource exploitation in and around the Lower Zambezi National Park. They will be part of a group of 10 people taking part in a sponsored canoe trip in aid of Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ) which aims to educate local communities on human/wildlife conflict, protecting the environment and wildlife, anti-poaching patrols and sustainability. Recent statistics show that 96 elephants a day are slaughtered and many more animals are endangered.
We wish them all luck on their adventure, which has been organised by our good friend Jane Keogh.
