When a long-standing client is acquired, it can mark the end of one business relationship. In the case of Xi Communications, however, it became the beginning of another.

Wild & Co Chartered Accountants had worked with Harrogate-based Xi Communications for many years, helping to automate many of its routine accounting processes, giving the team access to more timely financial information and a clearer picture of business performance.

That knowledge became particularly valuable when the owners Martin and Tony decided the time was right to sell.

Wild & Co worked closely with Xi Communications as it prepared for sale, helping ensure its financial information and processes were in good shape and providing support throughout the acquisition.

In October 2025, Xi Communications was acquired by Apollo Cloud Solutions Limited, bringing Xi into a wider communications technology business while retaining the people, expertise and customer relationships that had made it successful.

Apollo Cloud helps businesses communicate more effectively through AI-driven communications solutions,  to make its customers more successful, backed by knowledgeable people, personal service and close attention to detail.

During the acquisition process, the Apollo Cloud team worked closely with Wild & Co and experienced first-hand the firm's proactive and personal approach.

Rather than that relationship ending once the transaction was complete, Apollo Cloud subsequently decided to appoint Wild & Co as its accountants.
