We’re proud to announce that Graham has joined the committee of one of Harrogate’s leading business organisations.
He was nominated for the Management Group of Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce at their recent AGM, and his appointment was supported unanimously by the membership.
For Wild & Co Chartered Accountants, this is a fantastic recognition of our growing role in the business community in the Harrogate district. We work with businesses across all sectors and of different sizes, and our client list has grown significantly in the last few months alone.
Harrogate District Chamber is one of the longest-standing organisations in our area, having been founded more than a century ago. With almost 200 member businesses, it has been a great place for us to make new contacts and develop our network.
Its monthly meetings have also offered valuable information and support for our business as it has grown, covering everything from practical advice on marketing to the latest news on traffic and transport problems affecting businesses in our area.
When we were approached by the chamber CEO, Sandra Doherty, to help lead the organisation over the coming months and years, we knew straight away we wanted to make a contribution to ensure others could get the benefits we’ve enjoyed. Graham has already attended his first committee meeting and is starting to get to know the challenges involved in running such a large organisation and ensuring it provides a useful service to its members.
He says: “It is an honour to be invited to join the management committee of Harrogate District Chamber.
“This is a vibrant, influential organisation which has helped numerous businesses to become established and to grow over the years, including ours. I’m already enjoying getting to know the committee members and looking forward to making my own contribution on behalf of Wild & Co Chartered Accountants in the coming months.”
