A global career in Leadership and Development paved the way for the launch of an exciting new business venture for Nathan Dring, which has since led to him delivering projects for organisations such as NHS Leeds, Tata Steel, Enterprise and PA Consulting.
Nathan’s ambition is to inspire a shift in culture that enables leaders to sustain the change themselves by giving them the capability to steer attitudes and engagement within their own teams.
His innovative approach has made an instant impact on his clients and brings something completely new and refreshing to the L&D sector.
However, having set up his limited company Nathan Dring and Associates Limited, it wasn’t until he met Liz Wild of Wild & Co Chartered Accountants that he realised he had been lacking the advice he needed to set things up in the most effective way.
“Liz looked at my finances and noticed I didn’t have a business bank account, which meant I couldn’t trade as a limited company even though I had created one,” he explained.
“As well as talking me through the financial implications and helping me set things up properly, she also recommended a bank and introduced me to a business bank manager who offered additional support at that crucial start-up stage.”
Wild & Co provided additional advice and support over the next few months, setting Nathan up on Xero cloud accounting software and helping him streamline his VAT processes and cash flow forecasting.

Wild & Co helped Nathan work out how much personal and business tax he would owe and when payments would be due throughout the year, giving him even greater confidence in his cashflow and finances.
